In ancient Ireland the first day of February was known as Imbolc, a festival celebrating the first stirrings of spring and the return of light and life to the earth after the cold, dark days of winter. It also marks the feast of St. Brigit, who like St. Patrick is honored as a patron of the Irish people.

Join Dr. Benjamin Bruch at Scattergood Friends School on January 29 for an evening of food, fellowship, story, song, seasonal crafts, and Celtic traditions. All ages welcome!
